Series 1 of record group 92-357 contains grouse reports and seminar records for the years 1957-1972. Contains a manuscript for a study done on two kinds of prairie chickens, and grouse seminar materials. The study documents the pinnated grouse, square tail, yellow legs and prairie hen, all of which were known as "prairie chickens," and the sharp-tailed grouse. The grouse seminars were semi-formal gatherings of wildlife professionals interested in the progress of grouse programs throughout the U.S. and Canada. Topics include habitat development and population management.
